In Africa, suffocating debt, the pandemic of AIDS and an oppressive trade system are not symptomatic of a crisis demanding charity, but rather of a people's call for dignity, justice and equality.

We have the resources but do we have the will? If we reduce this joyous opportunity to a burden or duty – then our commitment will soon falter under the weight of frustration and obligation. And the joy that is found in unconditionally loving others will be replaced by our own destructive selfishness.

Redemption will rally around the call for dignity, justice and equality for Africans. The film will revel in this call to adventure! This is our greatest vocation! The film will create a tension that forces dialogue capable of attacking the root causes of injustice.
